So here is my situation. I friend of mine gave me the whoop 4.0 as a gift because he upgraded to the 5.0
As i creating an account, it said that I had a 2 month free trial but that I needed to put card information and the plan that I was going to have after the trial was over.
Afterwards, the charge was made to my card, and I don’t have the months of free trial. I want to cancel the subscription and the account, and find a way go get my money back.
I am no entirely sure what to do with the device, I don’t know if my friend bought it or what, but I only want to cancel and get muy money back, or maybe I would be interested in changing it to a monthly membership if I can have the 12 months charge taken off.
Thanks for taking the time to write in. To cancel a gifted WHOOP membership, the recipient of the gift can cancel the membership themselves by logging into their WHOOP account. They can go to the Membership section in the WHOOP app or at app.whoop.com/membership and select the option to cancel.
Please note:
Gifted memberships are set to auto-renew by default.
Memberships under an active 12-month or 24-month commitment cannot be canceled immediately but can be scheduled to cancel at the end of the current term to prevent future renewals.
Gifted memberships are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash except where state law mandates otherwise.
Once canceled, the membership will remain active until the end of the prepaid period, and no further charges will apply after that date.
