Hi guys, good afternoon! I’m in this situation: I opened a Whoop account using my mom’s email and signed up for almost a year. Then I wanted to open another account for myself, so I opened it using my email and didn’t buy a plan. Then I changed my mom’s account to my own and immediately changed my email. Yesterday, while snowboarding, I lost my phone. I found it six hours later and tried to log into Whoop. It wouldn’t work, asking for my username and password. I’d type in my email address, and some people would sign in, but some had been signed up for a year, and others I hadn’t. What can I do? Please help ![]()
Hi @KHIMRANOV,
It sounds like there is some confusion with multiple accounts and email changes, which can affect your ability to log in properly.
Here are some steps to help you regain access:
-
Try logging in with the email address currently linked to your WHOOP account. Since you changed your mom’s account email to your own, use that updated email.
-
If you don’t remember the password, use the WHOOP mobile app to reset it by tapping “Log In” > “Forgot Password” and follow the instructions. Check all email folders (Inbox, Spam, Junk, Promotions) for the reset email.
-
If you receive multi-factor authentication (MFA) codes, ensure you check the correct email or phone number linked to your account. Sometimes codes can be filtered into spam or other folders.
-
If you are still seeing multiple accounts or cannot access the correct one, it may be due to having multiple WHOOP accounts with different emails. Try to identify which email is linked to your active membership by checking any purchase confirmation emails you have.
-
If you are unable to resolve the login issue or identify the correct email, you may need to verify your identity with WHOOP support (support@whoop.com) to update your account email or recover access.
