Heartrate readings way off with Bicep band

Hi,

Yesterday I had a running competition (15k). To my surprise my Heartrate readings were way off and completely unreliable. I was wearing an apple watch as well, which has been very reliable (consistent HR of about 180). I wear the Whoop 5.0 on the outside of my left bicep (really snug, I even adjusted it tighter before the race). Is my positioning wrong? What can I do to improve the accuracy? I feel like the data is unreliable now, which is a bit demotivating as well. I bought the bicep band as it was supposed to be the most reliable for runs & workouts.

Search the community and you’ll find lots of people saying the same thing with HR on Whoop. They are aware but choose to ignore the problems.. :thinking:
