Haptic alarm strength

Today I contacted support to request a downgrade to hardware 4.0 after missing another workout due to the haptic alarm. The 5.0 offers no meaningful, user-noticeable improvements beyond battery life, which is negligible for me given portable charging. While the sensors are marketed as superior, there has been no noticeable change to my data since upgrading.

There was so much buzz around the release of 5.0 and it should have represented clear progress but weakening a genuinely useful hardware feature to make an already unobtrusive device marginally smaller was a complete misstep.

Same issue for me. In fact, I’ve slept through it so many times, I’ve gone back to using the iPhone alarm. Never had that issue with the 4.0.

This was my thought too. I have had Garmin vibrations wake me up which felt much more gentle. The 5.0 seems to be like a loud alarm to me. I wish there was a way to adjust the settings on this.
