Doctors are starting to raise up topics around microbiome and the importance of keeping it healthy. Together with microbiome, they are trying to make people more conscious about how they go to the bathroom.
There’s even a scale - know as the Bristol Stool Scale - for people to understand what’s going on inside and how to “read” the way you go to the bathroom to know how healthy (or not) you are.
It’d be great to be able to track it down on whoop’s journal and see the impact that some food or habits may have on us.
Thanks for sharing this. With more doctors talking about the microbiome, being able to log bathroom habits alongside food and daily behaviors in the Journal could make those cause and effect patterns much clearer over time.
Right now, the Journal is designed to capture habits that can be correlated against recovery, sleep, and strain, but we know there is growing interest in digestive health and how it connects to overall performance and wellbeing. Ideas like yours help highlight where members want deeper context and awareness, especially as health tracking moves beyond workouts alone.
We appreciate the feedback and will pass it along to our product team.
