My MG just updated to 50.32.1.0 but the firmware page shows the current version of 50.31.1.0.
Whoop team you can’t be dropping new firmware updates without saying what you have changed. How hard is it to update the website prior to the release?

2 days and still no clue what was in the update
I’m totally with you on this Alan. I’ve complained to Whoop several times yet it seems to fall on deaf ears. It indicates a clear lack of respect for the end user. It’s not hard at all to drop a few patch notes, but they don’t do this until long after the firmware is released, if at all.
The Firmware updates are rolled out to device progressively. They don’t typically post Firmware update notes until the rollouts are completed.
Just checked and the Firmware page has been updated so your suggestion is perhaps true. But that means for 3 days I have had no clue what was in the roll out. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to post at the end rather than the beginning but if they don’t want users asking why they don’t have the latest Firmware then why not a pop up “What’s New” when the update has been installed.
Whoop staggers the roll-out so they can pull an update quickly if early users hit a show-stopping bug; until the green-light is given for 100 % deployment they hold the full release notes back (same playbook Apple with beta updates and Garmin use on watchOS/FW). That keeps the notes from changing mid-stream, but it does leave early recipients like us guessing for a few days.
A simple “What’s New” pop-up after install then a link to the page once the notes are final would solve the confusion you’re talking about.
How will we know if a showstopper or a new feature/metric adjustment
Mine is still at 50.31.1.0
I’m hesitant to say after only 24 hours, but this firmware seems to have resolved the frequent Bluetooth disconnections. There’s a separate thread about that.
I’ve been having a terrible time with my MG + Pixel 9 Pro XL. If heart rate broadcast is enabled, it would frequently disconnect and my phone would give a security warning. I had to forget the device and repair it completely every time. This would happen many many times per day.
With HR broadcast disabled I was not having disconnecting issues with my phone. But this is a huge problem because I don’t want to toggle it every time, and it caused my Whoop to disconnect during an activity if I was also recording it on the phone.
So far on the new firmware, my HR broadcast is ENABLED and I have not had any connection issues in the first 24 hours. I’m cautiously optimistic.
UPDATE: unfortunately I experienced one disconnection this morning and had to re-pair the device again. Seems the issue is improved but not resolved.
