I love using WHOOP to track my performance and recovery. I wanted to share a few quick feature requests to make the ecosystem even more effective:
1. Strength Trainer Enhancements
In-App Rest Timers: A built-in countdown between sets (similar to Fitbod or Strong) to keep workouts on track without switching app.
Localized Muscle Recovery Rate: A metric showing which specific muscle groups are fully recovered versus fatigued to help optimize daily programming.
Expanded Library: Please add cable pulls, Bulgarian split squats, and Romanian deadlifts (RDLs).
2. Meal Photo Logging
Visual Food Diary: A quick camera function in the Journal to snap a photo of daily meals. It is much faster than text logging and would make it incredibly easy to visually correlate diet with next-day Recovery.
3. Proactive Scheduling
Training Reminders: The ability to schedule workouts and receive a push notification when it is time to train.
Wind-Down Alerts: A customizable notification 30 to 60 minutes before the suggested bedtime to proactively prompt sleep prep, rather than just listing a target time.
