Feature suggestion: Audio Coaching Cues in WHOOP Live

I’d love to see WHOOP add audio coaching cues during live training (walks, runs, etc.), especially for HR zones.

Example: if I set a goal to stay in a specific heart rate zone, WHOOP could give simple cues like:

  • “Slow down, you’re above your target zone.”
  • “Pick it up a bit, you’re below your target zone.”

Since WHOOP already sets personalized HR zones and strain targets, adding optional audio feedback would make it much easier to train by zone without constantly looking at the screen.

Would be amazing for Zone 2 runs and walkS, Intervals, Staying within a recovery‑friendly intensity…

Please consider adding this as an optional feature in WHOOP Live / workouts.Would love to see this on the roadmap

Yes,I was just thinking about this after trying to stay more consistently in zone 2 during some indoor/outdoor runs.

I’d personally love to see this implemented with non-verbal cues. While voice coaching is great, sometimes just a simple audio chime or haptic pulse is all you need to stay in the zone without interrupting your music or podcast.

  • Positive Chime: A ‘success’ tone when you’ve settled into your target zone.

  • Warning Chime: A lower-pitched or ‘negative’ tone when you’ve drifted out (too high or too low).

This would be a game-changer for those of us doing high-volume Zone 2 work who want to keep our phones in our pockets and our eyes on the path.
