I have a flexible schedule that allows me to wake up whenever I want. I also tend not to go to sleep at exactly the same time every night.
I’ve always wanted a smart device to wake me up exactly when I reached some sleep target. Apple Watch can’t do this. I got excited when I saw that whoop had sleep goal based alarms. Specifically setting it to wake when 100% of my sleep goal is met.
Sadly though it appears that it only wakes you up within a preset 1hr window based on latest wake time you set. So if I set my latest wake time to 10am but reach the goal early at 8am it won’t go off until 9am and I could oversleep. And similarly if I set it for 8am but don’t reach my sleep goal until 10 am it will still go off at 8am causing me to undersleep.
Anyone else want this kind of unbounded min and unbounded max alarm purely based on meeting a sleep goal? I’d love to see this make its way into whoop.
