I do a lot of life-tracking in Claude and would love to know if Whoop is considering adding support for MCP at any point?
Would love to be able to query Calories burned, HRV, HR, Activity, Sleep etc. through MCP and tie it into different workflows I have within Claude.
Would also love to be able to write into the Journal via MCP as well. Have Claude be able to fill out the journal based on things it knows about my day.
Big +1 on this. Open up a lot of possibilities. Though sadly it seems these requests are not getting any traction.
+1 to this. Worth noting there are already close to a dozen community-built WHOOP MCP servers on GitHub, which shows the demand is real and people aren’t waiting.
But that’s also the problem. Several of them ask you to put your WHOOP email and password directly into a config file. At least one works by reverse-engineering the private iOS API, and its own author warns the response format can break at any time.
So the choice today is: hand your credentials to an unofficial server, or copy-paste numbers out of the app by hand.
An official connector with proper OAuth scopes would solve both.
