Hey WHOOP Team and Community,
I’d love to request an official WHOOP MCP Server.
My primary use case: I want to feed granular WHOOP data (specifically micro-metrics on sleep stages, daily journal behaviors, and heart rate zones) directly into my preferred LLM chat of choice. This would allow me to cross-reference my physiological data against entirely separate platforms and deep historical data that WHOOP doesn’t natively integrate with.
For example:
-
Epigenetic & Genetic Optimization: Overlaying raw genetic data (like a 23andMe or Ancestry DNA, TellMeGen exports) with daily WHOOP tracking. I want to use an LLM to cross-reference my genetic predispositions - e.g. such as slow caffeine metabolism (CYP1A2) or circadian rhythm variants - with my actual deep sleep architecture or elevated resting heart rate (RHR) on days recorded in my WHOOP Journal to see what actually triggers my body.
-
Advanced Training Context: Correlating my daily running performance, pacing, and power metrics from Strava directly with my exact recovery scores and heart rate zone efficiency from the night before.
-
Broader Context Windows: Analyzing how my monthly work calendars, travel schedules, or cognitive fatigue stack up against my physiological recovery patterns over a massive time horizon.
An official MCP server would give advanced users the ultimate flexibility to securely leverage their own data where they already work, keeping WHOOP at the absolute center of the quantified-self and AI ecosystem.
Would love to hear if others are building custom setups for this, and if the engineering team has this on the radar!
P.S. To the WHOOP Product & Engineering teams: If this is something you are already exploring, or if you are looking for users to bounce ideas off of, I would be more than happy to jump onto a beta, test early versions, or share deeper feedback on this or any other developer-focused ecosystem features.
