One thing Iโd really like to see in WHOOP is a much more detailed view for individual workouts, especially for activities like running and cycling.
WHOOP already collects a lot of useful data, but when I open a specific workout, Iโd love to see more of the metrics that dedicated running and cycling watches provide.
For example, for running:
Stride length
Vertical oscillation
Ground contact time
Vertical ratio
Cadence
Heart rate zones throughout the workout
Elevation and elevation profile
Pace and pace distribution
More detailed GPS information
And for cycling:
Speed and speed distribution
Elevation profile
Gradient
Heart rate zones
Power data when available
More detailed information about climbs and descents
More detailed GPS data
It would be great if WHOOP could make the individual workout page feel more like a complete training analysis, rather than primarily focusing on Strain.
Better map view
Another small but important improvement would be the ability to expand the Apple Maps view within a workout.
The current map is useful, but it would be great to be able to tap it and open a large, full-screen map, where you can properly see the route, climbs, turns and the overall distance covered.
WHOOP already has the data โ Iโd love to see more of it presented in a way that makes the app useful not only for recovery tracking, but also as a serious training analysis platform.
Basically: more data, better visualization, and more control over how we explore individual workouts. ![]()
