Sometimes, I run on a treadmill. It would be fantastic if I could manually enter the distance when the run is completed. I am using the app Kaizen, which suggests a weekly distance of runs to complete. Kaizen syncs with Strava, but Whoop is unable to provide a distance to Strava if I’ve run a distance on a treadmill. My solution would be to enter a manual distance in Whoop when the run is completed and sync with Strava.
Hey @lexlexlex
Thanks again for sharing great feedback. Your idea about adding a manual distance entry for treadmill runs makes a lot of sense and we will continue to pass requests like this on to our product team ![]()
Feedback like this helps us improve WHOOP for all of our members, so thank you!
Would love to see this feature soon. Disappointing this was missed in the first place. Is there a work around? Can you sync with another device? Overall love the product though. Thanks Whoop Team, or Team Whoop, however you prefer.
Hello everyone,
Since I used to sit a lot in the office, I ordered a height-adjustable desk and now also a treadmill to place underneath it so I can get some steps in.
Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that Whoop does not record steps or distance from the treadmill app. As a result, my strain is practically at 0.0, since my hands are resting on the desk rather than hanging freely.
It would be great if there were a way to transfer the data, and/or if we could manually enter it as mentioned above. What is the current status on that? We don’t want to distort strain, recovery, etc., but it’s also inaccurate when, for example, we walk 5,000 steps on the treadmill and Whoop records 0.
