WHOOP already syncs weight, body fat %, and muscle mass from smart scales — awesome. But I noticed there’s no way to log body circumferences.
Would be great to add: •Waist •Hips •Chest •Arm •Leg
Sometimes the scale doesn’t move, but measurements show your body shape is changing. That’s super useful for people training, cutting, bulking, or just wanting to track progress.
Right now I keep these measurements in another app, and it’s not very convenient. If it was all in WHOOP, you could see the full progress picture in one place.
Here’s roughly how it could look (screenshot attached).
Hi @iSaymon, thank you for the feedback. Good idea. For the body measurements, do you use a device like this to do them? Just curious. Or do you use a tech scale that has a unique way of doing this automatically.
Yes, I measure my body with a tape measure :] It’s especially useful when you’re losing weight and the number on the scale has stalled. My doctor pointed out the body areas I should pay attention to — that’s where you can see changes both when I’m losing fat and when I’m building muscle
Hi @iSaymon, sounds good. Thank you for providing that additional context. That makes sense to me! Awesome. I just added this feedback to our Product team’s project tracking board for them to consider. I like this idea. It would be really neat if after putting in all of your measurements it could do something like show almost like a little movie of all of the images of your body over time, highlight wins, highlight stubborn areas, etc. Trends over time. This could get really interesting.
Sounds really cool! My scales from Witnings work in a similar way with muscles and fat, as far as I know you cooperate, take a look at how they do it too.
