My family admin tried to upgrade the whoop to 5.0 but when we went to checkout it was more than $700 and it says that we were going to order 4 whoops when we only have a plan with 2 people, how can i change it so that i only pay for 2 whoop’s
Hi @aidepoo. The Family Plan admin needs to ensure the correct number of devices is selected during the upgrade process. Here’s how they can fix it:
- Log into the WHOOP app as the Family Plan admin.
- Go to More > My Account > Membership & Billing > Manage Family Plan.
- Review the number of members on the plan and confirm it is set to 2.
- Start the upgrade flow again and verify the quantity of devices matches the number of members (2 in this case) before proceeding to checkout.

so there are technically three members but the admin does not own a whoop
so im not sure if this changes things or not but either way it is still saying 4 people

I’m having the same issue. I’m trying to add my partner but it’s impossible from the mobile app.
It’s the worst service ever, they’re sending useless emails I’m not sure how this company manages to keep their customers engaged when they can’t even answer to a very basic issue.
Has anyone found a solution to do it or do we need to wait for their useless customer service to answer ?
