Hi, I’d like to upgrade my device to the MG band and use that for the remainder of my subscription. If I dont use the additional functionality, can I downgrade to the lower tier upon renewal? Will I receive a new 5.0 device if I do this and would the MG device still work on the lower plan but with the functionality limited to that plan?

Hi @Parksyboy, if you upgrade to the MG band, you’ll need to switch to the WHOOP Life membership since the advanced features like Blood Pressure Insights (beta) and Heart Screener with ECG are only available on that plan. If you decide later that you don’t need those features, you can downgrade to a lower tier (like Peak or One) when your renewal comes up.
The MG device will still work on a lower plan, but the functionality will be limited to what’s included in that tier. For example, features like Blood Pressure Insights and Heart Screener won’t be accessible if you downgrade. Also, downgrading doesn’t include a new 5.0 device—you’d keep using the MG band on the lower plan.

Hi, my membership has expired and I would extend it if there was an option to downgrade from Life to Peak. I can see that functionality when I click on the renewal option in the app, but upon chosing a 1-year Peak membership I still get redirected to the payment page for the more expensive option which I did not chose. Not the kind of customer experience I’m happy with
