Does anyboby knows this? Maybe the support team?

Dear WHOOP Team,

I am currently using the trial and plan to decide this week whether to purchase a membership. Before making my decision, I have a few questions I’d like to clarify:

  1. Weight Monitoring
I would like to track my weight (ideally automatically, but manually if needed). I currently use a Fitbit scale that also measures body composition, which I am very satisfied with.

    • I understand that Fitbit and WHOOP do not communicate directly, but is it possible to sync this data indirectly via Apple Health?

    • If not, where in the app can I manually enter my weight?

  2. Charging
I noticed that charging only seems possible when the band is connected to the cable. Is this correct? I understood that the strap can be charged without removing it, but I’m not entirely sure how this works. Could you please clarify?

  3. Membership Options (WHOOP Pro vs. WHOOP Pro with Titanium Device)
I am considering between the different membership/program options. As I understand it, the “Peak” program includes a titanium device. Is that correct?

    • If I choose this option, how do I switch bands without losing any data?
  4. Nutrition Integration
I also have an integration for tracking my nutrition. Does WHOOP provide any recommendations regarding vitamins, minerals, or other nutritional insights based on the data collected?

Thank you in advance for your clarification. Once I have your feedback, I will be able to make my decision.

Best regards,
Robin

Hi @rwanders,

Thanks so much for your interest in WHOOP and for sharing these great questions!

Here are some detailed answers to help guide your decision:

Weight Monitoring

You’re right: Fitbit and WHOOP cannot sync data directly. However, you CAN import weight and body composition data into WHOOP via Apple Health. Just ensure your Fitbit scale syncs with Apple Health, and that the Health app is connected to WHOOP with Weight permissions enabled.

Alternatively, you can manually enter your weight in the WHOOP app:

  • Open the WHOOP app
  • Tap the “Trends” section
  • Select “Weight” or “Lean Body Mass”
  • Tap “+” to add or update your weight

You’ll be able to view these trends over weeks/months and even add weight as a “key stat” on your home screen.

Charging

Great news: WHOOP is designed so you can charge it while wearing i*. The Wireless PowerPack slides directly onto your sensor while it’s still on your wrist, so you never have to remove the device (this is different from the Basic Charger, which generally requires you to remove the device).

The Wireless PowerPack is water-resistant—so you can even keep collecting data during workouts or showers!

To charge:

  1. Charge the PowerPack using USB-C
  2. Snap it onto your WHOOP (on-wrist) to start charging
  3. The LED blinks green while charging and goes solid green when finished

Membership Options (WHOOP Pro vs. Pro with Titanium Device)
The membership names have changed; currently, the options are WHOOP One, WHOOP Peak, and WHOOP Life. The “Peak” option includes the WHOOP 5.0 sensor, a premium band, and the Wireless PowerPack. The option with the titanium (MG) device is part of the WHOOP Life membership, which also unlocks features like ECG readings and Blood Pressure Insights (where available). No data is lost when switching bands… your data is stored on the device and syncs automatically in the app.

Nutrition Integration

While WHOOP does not currently provide specific vitamin or mineral recommendations, you can connect nutrition apps (like MyFitnessPal or Cronometer) to Apple Health, which in turn can feed summary data into WHOOP. You’ll be able to log nutrition via the in-app Journal. WHOOP uses your input to study patterns and relate behaviors (such as nutrition or supplement intake) to recovery, sleep, and strain, but does not make supplement recommendations at this time.

If you’re ready for next steps or have additional questions about any features, you can check out more details here: https://www.whoop.com/membership/

I hope this was helpful. Thanks for reaching out!
