Day Streak Meaning

Looking for help on what Day Streak means? I have 529 days but not sure what it represents. Thanks!

Hey @Joeippolito! Good question. The Streak feature is pretty simple, but pretty fun - it tracks how many consecutive days a member collects WHOOP data.

529 days is GREAT - LET’S GO! Keep up the consistency - we appreciate you being in our WHOOP Community

Hey Evan, Thanks for answer! Another question. I bike ride with a group every morning and the majority of riders use WHOOP as well. However STEPS seems to get tracked from their ride and not mine. Example, we rode an hour stopped for coffee. Each of them showed thousands of steps taken. My whoop showed only what i had actually walked which was 300. Does cycling record steps? Its hard to both ride 30 miles everyday AND get 10,000 steps in!

Thanks again!

Happy Friday, @Joeippolito! Good question – so our machine learning algorithms actually filter out non-walking activities like driving or cycling. From what I’m hearing, that means your WHOOP is humming along as it should in a situation like this.

I can’t speak fully to what may be going on with your fellow riders, but if I were to take an educated guess it may be that they aren’t auto/manually logging a cycling activity, thus WHOOP doesn’t actually know they are on a bike and thus doesn’t filter out the steps. In order to get to the bottom of this, think we’d need to isolate some variables. If they are actively tracking a cycling activity yet steps are still being counted during that time → something may be up, and I’d encourage them to shoot us an email at support@whoop.com to get to the bottom of it. Let us know if you notice anything wacky on your end.

Hope this helps. :bicycle:
