"Customize your whoop experience" tutorial messed up and stuck

Hello everyone,

I’m new to WHOOP and experiencing a strange bug. I can’t get rid of the “Customize Your WHOOP Experience” widget from the Get Started tutorial. The order of the cards is messed up: instead of going from steps 1 to 6, it goes 1 → 4 → 5–6 → 2–3. Because of this, I can’t complete the tutorial and close it :face_with_diagonal_mouth: it’s very annoying not being able to get rid of it.

I’ve already tried opening/closing the app, logging out, deleting and reinstalling the app, but nothing works. I’m on an iPhone 17 Pro with the latest iOS.

Any idea how to fix this? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

Hey @Pla78,

Thank you for flagging this bug. We’ll relay it to the appropriate team. Keep an eye out for a fix.

In the meantime, I took the liberty of opening a support ticket for you. A member of our Membership Services may have some more tips for troubleshooting.

thank you. I will answer to that ticket providing a small screenshot-video I made… that may help eventually

I’m experiencing the exact same thing. Just received my Whoop today, and the “Customize Your WHOOP Experience” takes me through the same steps as Pla78. Jumping from 1 → 4 → 5–6 → 2 → 3.

I have the exact same Issue after getting my whoop today

Same - anyone get a fix yet?

I also have the same bug, just recieved my whoop today

I feel compelled to give you a feedback as nobody from Whoop is following up on this topic. Just go through the first 2 nights and it will get pushed away by new notifications… It’s a bit disappointing that, despite providing feedback multiple times, nobody from the Whoop team simply told me that. For me, it ruined the unboxing experience and created disappointment from day one.

I returned the device three days later because the heart rate measurements were way off. Just shaking my wrist normally while walking made my HR spike to 120 bpm. By deliberately shaking my arm for testing, I could push it up to 140 bpm in 20 seconds. (And YES, I wore it correctly about 1 inch above the wrist bone, snug fit etc.). And NO, that is not normal. It does not happen with other devices (Apple watch, Garmin etc …just test it on your own with yours).

For context, my resting HR is 47 bpm, and even when walking fast, it never goes beyond 80 bpm.

I did, however, appreciate the smooth return process and really wished the device had been more reliable, because the app itself is very well designed. But at this price, I wasn’t ready to compromise.

Thank you im having the same issue with new whoop i got today !

Same issue for me. First Impression sucks..
