Connectivity to Peloton bike and tread plus

Hi - I am having no luck connecting WHOOP to my Peloton bike and Tread plus. My Firmware is updated to 50.35.2.0. Any advise or help?

Hi @jp24926 , thanks for reaching out! I also have a Tread+ and bike - how fun!

You can pair your WHOOP directly to your Peloton Bike and Tread+ using Heart Rate Broadcast over Bluetooth.

Here are the steps for how to get things connected:

  1. In your WHOOP app, make sure Heart Rate Broadcast is turned on (More → Device Settings → Heart Rate Broadcast).

  2. Make sure WHOOP isn’t already connected to another machine or fitness app — it can only broadcast to one device at a time.

  3. On your Peloton Bike or Tread+, go to Settings → Bluetooth → Heart Rate Monitor, and pair WHOOP directly from there (it may take up to a minute to appear).

If WHOOP doesn’t show up right away, try toggling Heart Rate Broadcast off and back on, restarting the Peloton screen, and keeping your phone slightly away while pairing so Peloton can connect directly to the device.

For me, pesronally, sometimes it is #2 that is the issue because my WHOOP will autoconnect to the Bike next to me when I am trying to connect to the Tread instead.
