Charing issue with 4.0 device

My whoop 4.0 device wont charge… I lost the charger for over a month and a half and its been dead for that long as well. Just bought a new one from amazon and the charge seems to light up green when it connected but the device itself hasnt turned on. I left it charging over night and still nothing. What do I do?

Hey @Triclle, sorry to hear your WHOOP 4.0 isn’t turning on! Let’s walk through a few things to check and try:

  • Battery pack check: WHOOP 4.0 only charges with the 4.0 battery pack, so first make sure you’re using the right one.
  • How to charge it: Slide the battery pack securely onto your sensor until it clicks into place — you should see an LED light to confirm it’s charging.
  • Battery level tip: You can double-tap the battery pack to check how much charge it has. Green means it’s at least 50%.
  • Charging times: Charging the battery pack takes about 2 hours. Charging your WHOOP sensor from the pack takes around 2.5 hours.
  • Still not turning on? Try a full reset: remove the battery pack, wait a few seconds, then snap it back on.
  • Cable & charger matters: Make sure you’re using a WHOOP-certified USB-C cable and charger, and that the port is free of dust or debris.
  • Optional but helpful: If you’ve got access to a computer, WHOOP offers a Battery Pack Updater tool that checks and updates the battery pack’s firmware — that can sometimes fix charging issues too.

If you’ve gone through all of this and your sensor still isn’t responding, please reach out to support@whoop.com for help.
