Cannot pair whoop

I just purchased a whoop from Dicks sporting goods. I charged it and cannot get the blue light to to come on. Only green.

Hi there! Please follow the steps below to get your WHOOP into pairing mode:

  1. Take the WHOOP off your wrist.
  2. Hold it by the sides with your thumb and finger and wait for the green lights on the bottom to turn off.
  3. Tap with firm, consistent, rapid taps on the top of the WHOOP.
  4. Continue tapping for 15-20 seconds until you see the light on the side flashing blue.
  5. Once it’s flashing with a blue light, it’s entered pairing mode.

Do I need a membership of if I just bought a whoop?

If you purchased it from Dick’s it should have a membership included. Once you pair your WHOOP to the app, the membership will load up for you!
