I gifted my wife with my 4.0 when I upgraded to the 5.0 she went through the trial and does not like it. My card is attached to that account and its steadily trying to charge it. I can’t cancel her membership only options I have are to reactivate and save or upgrade. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to cancel a membership and why you can’t remove a payment information only update. How do I cancel the gifted account without cancelling mine?
I was looking at this as well. Doesn’t seem possible in the app which is bizarre. Have you tried app.whoop.com seems like there are more options there.
Yes I did. But there is no option to cancel membership under membership tab. Ive logged in under my wife’s account and only options are changing payment method, reactivate and save, and upgrade. It keeps trying to charge my card for a full year, and it would have if I had not froze it.
OK. It was just a thought. I can’t see why you can’t cancel on the app. You can add months/years, downgrade/upgrade subscription but not cancel. And once to have paid for a year there is no refund. Seems a bit of a way to get money out of people who do not want to use it. Good luck getting it cancelled. ![]()
Obviously for people who have disposable income and they hope the people who have a buttload of it do what rich people do and forget the subscriptions or don’t pay attention to their banking account when reoccurring charges are coming out. Their customer service number is useless. Few rings them dial tone.
