Can we remove the renewal notification

I have a renewal date exactly a year from now. I just got a notification to update my payment details. I did it and an attempted charge was made. How can we remove this notification from the home page? And the automatic charge when putting the payment details in?

When I check into it, it says I have an unsettled payment on my account. However, i had already paid for this membership when ordering the product.

Hi @Hennything00,

Thanks for sharing those details! Here’s what’s likely going on and how to fix it:

  • If you’re seeing an “unsettled payment” message on your home screen, it usually means a previous payment didn’t go through—maybe a card expired or a charge failed. Even if your renewal date is months away, WHOOP might be trying to clear up that past balance.
  • When you update your payment method, WHOOP will try to process any unpaid balance right away. That’s why you saw a charge pop up as soon as you updated it.
  • The notification will stick around until that balance is fully paid. Once it goes through, the message should disappear automatically.

Here’s what you can try:

  • Make sure your payment method is current (and avoid prepaid cards—they sometimes cause issues).
  • If everything looks good and the charge went through, try logging out and back into the app or giving it a quick refresh.
  • If you’re sure your membership’s paid up and that unsettled payment still won’t go away, it might be a billing glitch or mix-up.

In that case, best bet is to reach out to support@whoop.com—they’ll be able to take a closer look.

My contract expiry date is June 19th 2026, so there is no reason why I am getting charge messages from whoop for a year long contract. I am getting support but it seems no one looks at my contract details before providing that information.

I totally agree with Hennything00. My card is actually not expiring soon, I have no outstanding payments, and I only just renewed my subscription a few months ago to get 5.0. Not only is there no need for the message, but putting the message in the app is a real affront. I go to the app to work on my fitness and health, not to deal with my finances

Having the same issue. I’m paid for the next year and a half. I shouldn’t need to worry about a card expiring 6 months from now

Interesting, I thought I was the only one experiencing this issue. Seems like it might be a bug. I’ve reached out to WHOOP Support and am awaiting their reply.

(Update: seems to be resolved)

Seems as though whoops is saying too bad so sad, if you want it off your Home Screen then simply give them money. I will not be rewarding this tactic and will go with another brand.

Interestingly, a day after posting this, the reminder disappeared! So I think we have been heard
