Battery flashing when charging

Gen 4 battery has started flashing red under charge. What does that indicate?

Hi @moejiller,

If your WHOOP Gen 4 battery is flashing red while charging, that means it’s under 5% - it’s charging, but super low.

If the red flashing sticks around for a while or it doesn’t seem to charge right, try this:

  • Make sure you’re using the WHOOP-certified USB-C cable and adapter.
  • Check and clean the USB-C port on the battery (dust can mess with the connection).
  • Charge it in a temp-controlled spot—nothing too hot or cold.
  • Update the battery firmware using the Battery Pack Updater tool.

Looks like the battery is not connecting via the usb port. light turns red upon connection but then promptly turns off. Whoop battery Updater App never recognized the battery - thus I can not run a diagnosis. This is the only Diagnosis log I could find.

(Attachment battery_pack_updater.log is missing)
