Apple Health – Missing Sleep Stage Data from WHOOP

Hello WHOOP Support,

I have noticed an issue with Apple Health integration. As you can see in my screenshots:

  • In the WHOOP app, my sleep data correctly shows all stages (REM, Deep, Light, Awake).

  • However, in Apple Health, only “Time in Bed” and “Time Asleep” are displayed. The detailed stages (REM, Deep, Core/Light, Awake) remain empty.

  • In Apple Health settings, WHOOP is set as the top data source for Sleep, and all permissions are enabled.

Could you please confirm if this is the expected behavior? Does WHOOP currently only export total sleep duration to Apple Health, or should sleep stage data also be syncing?

Yes it is very frustating, beacause I want to have a all data in Apple health from different device (whopp, withings, etcc..) and right now is not.

please update the apple health integration

I’d also really like to see this feature supported.
Some of my other apps rely on detailed sleep stage data from Apple Health, so only syncing “Time in Bed” and “Time Asleep” makes the integration incomplete. Having the full sleep stages (REM, Deep, Light, Awake) available in Apple Health would make a big difference.

Definitely a wanted data point to be sen to apple health. I used to use the Oura ring for years, who send all sleep stage data to Apple Health every night
