App not showing data

So, I am new to Whoop. I have the Life plan. I just had my first sleep, but it is not showing up in the app. No data is showing up in the app. For example, it is showing NO sleep for today or yesterday. But I got a notification that it did register a sleep. If I try and manually add a sleep for the same time, it says that there is an overlap and will not let me. I restarted the band, forced stop the app, reinstalled the app, forgot and reconnected the band and still nothing. However, if I open a 3rd party connected app such as Google fit, it shows the sleep and other data that is missing from the Whoop app. The stress monitor has not updated in 9 hours and if I change the day, the data stays the same. It is also not recording any steps or any BP insights.

Hi @Seth0941,

For a new member, it can sometimes take a short period for data to sync and display correctly as the device and app establish a connection and gather initial data. Please give WHOOP another 24 hrs. If you still aren’t seeing any data, try the following steps…

Confirm your WHOOP device is syncing properly by checking the last sync time in Device Settings in the app. It should be within the last 15 minutes.

  1. Make sure your phone is within Bluetooth range and the WHOOP app is running in the background.

  2. Verify your strap fit: it should be snug and positioned one finger-width above your wrist bone with no visible green light from the sensor.

  3. Check that the sensor area is clean and properly aligned.

  4. Since you already restarted the band and reinstalled the app, also ensure your phone’s Bluetooth is on and battery optimization settings are not restricting WHOOP app background activity.

  5. For the sleep overlap message when manually adding sleep, it means the band did detect sleep but the app is not showing it correctly. Try editing the sleep entry in the app by tapping the sleep entry, selecting the three-dot menu, and choosing Edit Activity to adjust start/end times if needed.

I have done all that, still no change. Obviously the band is connecting to the app or 3rd party apps would not be able to pull the data from it. The stress monitor quit updating at 11 pm yesterday. At the top of the screen, it will allow me to switch between “today” and “Tomorrow” but not yesterday. The data is unchanged between today and tomorrow. The stress monitor shows a recorded sleep, but the sleep screen is not. If I try and manually add a sleep for the time I did sleep, it says there is an overlapping activity and will not let me. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, forced stopped the app, Forgot and reconnected the band, restarted the band, disconnected 3rd party apps and reconnected them but still no change. It is also not recording any steps for today or yesterday, it is showing my live heart rate but is not showing any BP insights. The band is fully charged, I have spent the last 4 hours reading “fixes” for the issues and trying them, but nothing is working.
It’s not a band connection issue, The data is there, or the 3rd party app would not be able to read it.

Okay, I think I may have figured it out, it seems that the app for my CGM (Freestyle Libre) is conflicting with the Whoop app. My CGM app keeps crashing and I uninstalled the Whoop app and the CGM app stopped crashing. I installed the Whoop app and uninstalled the CGM app, and now I see data. I am a diabetic, so I need to keep my CGM. I will do some further testing, but if this is the case I will need to return this and cancel my membership.

My whoop has the same problem on the first day. I cannot see my sleep score but it says my sleep was registered. I don’t have that certain app so how should I go about this?
