I’ve had a 5.0 on the free 1-month trial for seven days now. Of the six nights I’ve worn the device, it has disconnected/turned off over night on two occasions, approximately 03:00 on Sunday morning, and again at c.01:20 this morning. Both times on waking at 07:00 I’ve had to plug the device in to its charger to wake it up/restart it again. Battery on both occasions has been in the 80-90% range so no issues with low battery. Unfortunately this is impacting all the relevant data/scores that are the USP of having a Whoop, so I’m not very impressed so far. Apparently my recovery is only 31% today even though I had 8.5 hours sleep and feel fantastic. Anyone else have similar issues? Going to give it another three or four days but if it happens again the trial has proved its worth and the device will be going back.
Hi @JakeBarley Thank you for sharing those details and I’m sorry to hear your start has been less than ideal!
Let’s try a quick reboot to rule out a temporary firmware or power issue:
To reboot your device, please navigate to Device Settings by selecting the device icon in your app. Then go to Advanced > Reboot Device.
After rebooting:
-
Make sure your WHOOP app and firmware are fully up to date under Device Settings > Firmware Version.
-
If the device disconnects again, try unpairing and re-pairing through Bluetooth settings.
-
Wear the device snugly (one finger above the wrist bone) and keep it within normal room temperature overnight.
If your WHOOP still turns off unexpectedly after these steps, our Membership Services team (support@whoop.com) may need to arrange a replacement sensor so you can get to accurate recovery tracking.
