Why have I been charged for a membership during 2 month free gifting period?

Hi, I have gifted a Whoop 4.0 to my daughter who has signed up and has a 2 month free period. However, she has been charged £139 from her account with 24hr. Can you please explain why and how she goes about getting a refund a signed up for monthly subscription after the 2 month free period?

Would you or your daughter mind shooting us a quick email at support@whoop.com? That will provide us with the quickest means of taking a look at any charges and providing the right resolution.

Keep in mind if you email us yourself, we’ll just need to do some extra verification in order to investigate anything on your daughter’s account side - so if possible, asking her to send us an email would be ideal if the charge is on her card. Either way, we’ll take care of it so she can get back to enjoying her WHOOP!

Hey, I’m based in Australia, recently I bought the whoop peak 5.0 from JB HI-FI I fully paid for it through them and now my account is inactivate because it’s linked my old account to which I had a 4 week trail in the past.
