Hi WHOOP team,
I would like to request Chinese language support for the WHOOP app, including Simplified Chinese and, ideally, Traditional Chinese as well.
WHOOP is a powerful health and performance platform, but for many Chinese-speaking users, the English-only interface creates a real barrier. Metrics like Recovery, Strain, HRV, Sleep Performance, Health Monitor, and Healthspan are important health-related concepts. If users cannot fully understand them in their native language, it becomes harder to use WHOOP correctly and consistently.
Chinese support would help WHOOP reach a much larger group of users across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Chinese-speaking communities worldwide. Many users in these regions are increasingly interested in fitness, sleep tracking, longevity, and wearable health technology.
Even a phased rollout would be very helpful:
- Simplified Chinese interface
- Traditional Chinese interface
- Chinese explanations for key metrics
- Chinese onboarding and help articles
- Chinese notifications and health insights
I believe this would improve user experience, retention, and adoption in Chinese-speaking markets.
WHOOP already has strong hardware and data insights. Adding Chinese localization would make the product much more accessible to millions of potential users.
