I have just returned back home to Abu Dhabi a few hours ago. I flew in from Palma de Mallorca, an Iberian island in the Balearic Peninsula.
Yesterday, I was rushing to get over to meet a scuba diving team for a double dive, out in Alcudia Port.
A long story short. I went out onto the boat, did 2 x back to back scuba dives, approx 40-45 mins each, peak depths of 19.5m and 21.5m respectively.
I only realized that I’d forgotten to remove my Whoop strap once we’d returned back to port.
To my surprise, I saw that it connected to my App and that the hardware unit of my 5.0 MG was not dead.
After arriving home tonight, I charged the unit up to 100% and will test it.
Whilst I am dumbfounded by this tiny unit withstanding 3.5 bar of pressure, I am doubtful of its ongoing durability, especially with salt water exposure.
I realize this is my fault. I’d be happy to share any all personal data from my Garmin x50 dive computer for your engineers to analyze
I did wear a 3mm wetsuit.
