WHOOP connects to cycling computer but HR is not broadcasted

Hi,

I have tried troubleshooting this before but have failed to find a solution.
I start broadcasting HR from my whoop to my cycling computer form the whoop app. I can see that my Garmin edge picks up the connection but nothing changes in the HR data field of my Garmin computer.
When I connect to my indoor bike the same issue happens…
Can I get some assistance on this issue?

Hey @Diego0696 .

Thanks for reaching out — I’d love to help get your WHOOP connected to your computer and bike bike. If you haven’t already completed these before, here’s what I recommend trying:

  1. Open your WHOOP app and start a heart rate broadcast by going to Device Settings → Heart Rate Broadcast → Start Broadcast. Make sure your WHOOP’s light flashes blue — that means it’s actively broadcasting.

  2. On your Garmin, go to Sensors → Add Sensor → Heart Rate and select your WHOOP from the list. If it’s already listed, try removing it and re-pairing.

  3. Before broadcasting, make sure your WHOOP isn’t still paired to other apps or devices (like Zwift or Apple Health), as that can block data from reaching your Garmin.

  4. After pairing, if the Garmin shows it’s connected but still no HR data appears, please reboot your WHOOP:

    • In the app, select the device icon → Advanced → Reboot Device.
  5. If you’re using an indoor bike, check if it supports ANT+ HR inputs — some bikes only accept ANT+ signals, not Bluetooth.

If you’re still unable to connect, please reach out to our dedicated team at support@whoop.com, who will be able to assist further.
