I think a really useful selling point for the whoop is the strength training feature, but it is hidden behind a tiny button on the dashboard.
I would like the option to put my strength trainer on the dashboard as a widget like the stress monitor or the activity info. This would help select workouts and navigate easier.
Additionally i think the strength training section should have an easier dedicated way of viewing each workout you have performed in chronological order, rather than having to route through exercise records.
Another feature that would be useful would be to let the next set auto start for the same exercise after a set rest period.
Thank you, and I hope my feedback is acknowledged by the team and other users. I would love to hear what people think.
This is easily one of the biggest opportunities on the app currently.
I use Hevy for my weight lifting and that app has a much cleaner interface for lifting. I would recommend looking at them. It includes routines, auto filling past weights etcétera. It stops me from using Whoops because it’s hard and manual,
One other improvement you could make is to sync it with whoops AI so it can automatically choose exercises, weights, and sets for you. This would be big.
Additionally I am a whoops API user for a custom app I have. Opening the strength trainer to have API endpoints so my app could read/write workout plans or exercises I have done would be a good move. This is long term something you will probably need any ways as AI continues to improve and Apple Siri becomes more versatile. She will need to connect to Whoop somehow. Get ahead of the curve!
It would already help, if strength trainer had a widget on the lock screen like any other exercise. In this widget you should start an stop sets and see a timer. Theis would be a major update to the strength trainer without any hassle.
