Strength trainer enhancements

Howdy,

I’ve been using whoop for a couple years now and have some ideas for the strength trainer:

  • Allow two linked exercises for one custom exercise (for example, bridge and chest press. Or lunge and row)
  • Also, for custom exercises, have a setting when created for whether it’s a rep count or timed exercise, potentially over-riding the linked exercise. For example for an overhead carry I have it based on a push press, but I’m just holding the weights over my head for a fixed period of time.
  • Make it easier to transition between sets. sometimes my hands are full of heavy weights and/or I’m in an awkward position and I want to transition almost immediately between sets. Maybe the best way to do that would be to have a toggle that lets the sequence “play” automatically and having even fixed rep sets only last for a programmable time before a programmable break then autostarting the next set. Once your through the tricky section, you can turn the toggle back off. I’ve thought about voice commands but a few major downsides - the room is likely to be noisy, your phone is likely to not be near your face and if your in a public gym it would be weird and possibly rude to be talking to your device. Or tapping your whoop like for turning the alarm off but that can be finicky to trigger and the point is hands aren’t very available (still like that idea better than voice commands, it would probably be helpful in some cases)
  • Allow custom workouts supersets to be edited. Right now, as far as I can tell, once you make a superset the only way to change what’s inside or the order inside is to delete the whole set and start over. Individual sets in a workout can nicely be dragged and dropped, allowing you to add an exercise and put it wherever you want in the order of individual sets (and you can drag the whole superset around in the workout). Just extending that drag and drop to within the superset.

Thanks!
