I have given up on the wrist sensor giving accurate readings on my indoor workouts (too many highs were missed when sprinting, and generally Whoop’s HR tends to be about 5-10 lower than Polar under effort and some short sprints are just neatly truncated). So I halted auto-detection and let Whoop import from Strava (which gets it from Xert), while I let Polar Verity track my HR.

Well, I noticed that while the workout gets imported instantly, Whoop imposes its own HR reading and does not respect the imported one (Polar’s), and so the workaround fails as HR deficiencies are concerned. I am getting more and more disappointed in Whoop, sadly, as I keep turning off bad feature after bad. For the record, I am also testing Garmin Cirqa and its HR curve is almost the same as Polar’s, so it’s two against Whoop here.

Anyone else noticed this?
