I tend to go to the gym in the mornings. However, sometimes when I wake up recovery isn’t optimal, and once you wake up, there’s no improvement in your rest if you then check stats and decide not to go to the gym and sleep a further hour.
A smart feature would be the whoop to wake you up at your desired hour only if you meet recovery requirements, if not then the normal alarm would wake you up. Enabling you to manage your rest smarter
