I just signed up for a PEAK membership before the trial ends, will I get the brand new sensor as the trial one is the pre-owned device?

If you signed up for a WHOOP Peak membership by converting your trial, you will continue using the certified pre-owned WHOOP 5.0 sensor you received during your trial. The trial device is a certified pre-owned sensor, and unless you choose to upgrade your hardware (by extending your membership or paying an upgrade fee), you will not automatically receive a brand new sensor.
If you prefer a brand new device, you can upgrade by either extending your membership for 12 or 24 months or by paying a one-time upgrade fee. These options are available in the WHOOP app under Membership Settings.

the only upgrade option i have is to upgrade to WHOOP Life, which will give me MG. I just need a brand new 5.0

You don’t need to upgrade to Life to receive new hardware but you will need to extend your membership for 12 or 24 months.
