Hi all, I’ve been really disappointed with the quality of my WHOOP 5.0 band. Despite only having it for around 1–2 months, it has already started to discolour and fray, and the clasp is no longer sitting straight.

Considering the cost of WHOOP memberships and accessories, I would expect much better quality and durability. I use my WHOOP daily, but I don’t think a band should deteriorate this quickly with normal use.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with their bands? I’d be interested to hear if this is a common problem.

Yes. They are poorly made. If you wash them they fade and fray. If you don’t they get disgusting. It almost seems they are meant to be disposable. I love all of the band options available, but I shouldn’t have to keep replacing them. They should be OPTIONAL purchases.

They may, if you ask.
The clasp getting out of alignment can sometimes be fixed by just bending it back…gently, as it is pretty lightweight.
