# please add Step counter

Hi WHOOP Team,

I’d love to suggest adding a **live step counter** to the Walking activity screen, so users can see their step count in real time while tracking a walk, alongside metrics like heart rate, duration, and distance.

This would make it much easier to track progress toward a step goal without leaving the activity screen.
