I recently switched phones so am wondering if that has something to do with it. Regardless, when I woke up this morning the tracking was all sorts of weird. The first part is that it’s combined thursday and Friday into one day. It also claims I went on a 12 minute walk that was more like a run in the middle of the night when I was very asleep. It also claims I was done sleeping at 4:21 am but I didn’t wake until 5:45am and manually ended and processed my sleep at that time.
This is my first week with the Whoop so am curious if this is unusual or something that’s going to be a problem from time to time.
Hi there! Since this is your first week with WHOOP, a certain amount of adjustment and calibration is normal as the device learns more about your physiology and activity patterns. That said, the overnight activity detection and sleep timing you’re describing do sound unusual.
Since you recently switched phones, we’d recommend first ensuring that your WHOOP app is fully up to date and that your device remains properly connected and synced. We’d also suggest completing a device reboot and monitoring the data over the next several days.
If the issue continues after a few more days of wear, please reach out to support@whoop.com!
