Not syncing and wrong date

I am experiencing a persistent issue with my WHOOP app displaying the wrong date — it is stuck on “yesterday” — despite following all recommended troubleshooting steps. My phone’s date, time, and time zone are all correct and set to update automatically. This issue occurs only in the WHOOP app; all other apps and phone settings are working properly.

it also hasn’t recorded any sleep data from last night either.

Here are the steps I’ve already taken:

  • Reinstalled the WHOOP app

  • Checked and updated the app and device firmware to the latest versions

  • Rebooted the WHOOP device and my phone

  • Manually synced the device by pulling down on the Home screen in the app

  • Verified Bluetooth connection and device battery

  • Closed and reopened the app multiple times

  • Logged out and back into my WHOOP account

Hi there! Without a Sleep logged for the previous night, the app will not know a new day has started.

To add Sleep, please navigate to the Home page → then tap on the + icon. From there, select ‘Add Activity’ then select Sleep. Once you add in the start/end time and save, your Sleep will process, and your app will update accordingly!

Thanks for your reply. I did this and it worked. I only have it a few days so still getting used to it. Can I ask, does it not auto detect sleep? Have I to do this each day?
