Uploaded pictures for reference. I’ve lost a lot of weight but I know I am not the healthiest. I feel okay but I don’t think I feel like I’m in the 88%. Wanted to make sure I’m not alone if other peoples have had the 5.0 LIFE read SPO2 be really off. I shaved the area where my watch sits (right wrist). I understand the oxygen meter I’m using is not FDA approved, and it wasn’t very expensive so I am not sure if I should trust the WHOOP more than the Innovo iP900BP-B.
(I can’t upload two pictures but its 96% on the Innovo)
Perhaps try to play with it a little more and try measurements on a different places of your body?
Not sure if it’s help but for unreliable HR readings it seems to help to wear Whoop significantly higher above the wrist bone (and higher than recommended one finger width) or place it in biceps area.
Make sure that area is free of lotion and sunscreen, I’ve had that issue when I’ve applied too much and it gets on the underside of the sensor. Just curious, do you have heavy hair concentration covering this area? I have light hair covering, but now wonder how that might affect reading too
In my further testing I’ve finally found that I need to tighten the band more than I’ve initially expected. More than Apple Watch Ultra and then Whoop stopped giving me unreliable HR readings.
Just wanted to share my recent finding, not sure if it helps in your case
