If you are an active 5.0 peak member but did not know you could get a 10% military discount, can I still use that on my ongoing account?

The 10% military discount at WHOOP is available for new memberships only and cannot be applied retroactively to ongoing memberships or renewals. This discount requires verification through ID.me and is intended for new membership purchases.
If you’re already an active WHOOP Peak member, the military discount cannot be applied to your current ongoing membership. It is only valid at the time of new membership purchase.
This is actually a pretty offensive response. I also did not know there was a military discount, or perhaps I joined before there was one. Should I cancel and just rejoin to take advantage, or are you willing to take the “opportunity to excel” and take care of all Veterans and Servicemembers equally?
