I cannot reconnect my band after upgrading to iPhone 17 pro

I have Life subscription, only two months old. Just upgraded to iPhone 17 pro, and it refuses to connect.

When I look at Bluetooth in the phone, it says WHOOP is connected, just like my Apple Watch.

But in the app - it still spins and says “connecting”. It also has a warning that there is a “Membership tiers issue” that is currently affecting a lot of membership tiers.

Do I wait and hope this is a backend issue at Whoop, or do I try something more to get my whoop app to also find my whoop wristband the way my phone so easily did?

(Let’s also assume I have followed the app suggestions of restarting the phone and app, and placing the charger on my whoop - and giving up when I cannot get it to blink blue to pair from scratch)

Others faced this issue. And whilst it is a painful process it seems to have worked. Lots and lots of tapping. Good luck!
