Why is a $99 device out performing Whoops HR. I am sick of writing about this. We spoke in person and you gave me all the right answers but still you have done nothing. Please tells us what is the problem, I really do not think it’s the algorithm or any software related issue. My opinion, you shrunk the device and never fully checked if being smaller, lighter and thinner would be a problem. Your silence on this is deafening
Whoop 121 Avg, 166 Max. (On meds so can’t go much over 130)
Garmin Chest strap
$99 Helio Strap

As you I have faced problems with HR. I hoped Whoop Team would have fixed the problem. I use my trial for one month… And I have faced the problem - I don’t believe in whoop data because of error. Whoop Team did not do any announcement and commitment, so I have decided not to extend my subscription.
It’s disappointing.. I really hope Garmin will make a real Whoop competitor, which one will be really appropriate for sports addicts.

Alan, is it on wrist or bicep?
I cant decide between Epix 2 pro 47mm and Helio Strap on bicep and 5.0 on bicep.
Epix is in HR readings almost as good as Helio. Running perfect, but in weight lifting a bit worser than Helio, but much better than 5.0. But i think the values interpretations in Zepp app are not that good as Garmin or Whoop.

Whoop is back on my wrist. I have decided to pretty much ignore Whoop’s Sleep Recovery & Strain. Only use for Blood Pressure and ECG/EKG. On the wrist some days are fine and then all of a sudden a bad one. Just can’t work it out. But my main gripe is that HRV is so important for Recovery and the fact they use the Percentage and not the range in Health Monitor. Today I had 100% sleep, Perfect Strain yesterday but poor recovery because my HRV dropped a few points but in a Percentage whoop didn’t approve
I have the Epix Pro 50 and love it but I don’t use it for cycling. I have a Garmin Edge and Chest strap for that. But the Epix is great for all the other things Sleep, Stress, HRV, Body Battery and telling the time
Garmin Connect is excellent on the phone and even more expansive on the PC.
Amazfit I have on the Bicep and whilst the app is not as full as Garmin & Whoop it’s still has some very useful tools. Sleep. HRV, HR closely match Garmin and is much better than whoop.
I also use Sonar Health to aggregate all my data and display in one place. I have said this before but I do not believe in one device, I prefer many to give me a better picture of my health and fitness. Sonar does a good job of pulling all together.
