Has anyone worn their WHOOP device while floating in a sensory deprivation tank that contains an extremely high concentration of Epsom salt? If so, did the device get damaged by the salt?

Hi @MiguelMontero - thanks for reaching out! We haven’t specifically tested for extremely high salt concentrations.

If you do choose to wear your WHOOP during a float session, the salt itself shouldn’t cause immediate damage — but salt residue left on the device or band over time can contribute to wear. To help protect your WHOOP, we recommend rinsing the sensor and band thoroughly with fresh water right after the session and allowing everything to fully dry before wearing it again.

Thank you Noor!

Sincerely,
