As a Whoop user who has trouble getting up in the morning and going to bed at a consistent time, I’d like the ability to create and manage vibrating alarm clocks, so I can establish reliable sleep and wake routines directly from the wrist strap I already wear 24/7.
With the sleep programming native to Whoop, consistency is half the battle for recovery and HRV, but I’m only able to set a wake time - I think we’re missing a massive pillar of sleep hygiene by lacking a silent haptic alarm that can be programmed by the user. Being able to set vibrating wake-up times and gentle wind-down or bedtime reminders would help me (and other users based on what i’m reading) lock in stable circadian rhythms without spiking cortisol with loud alarms, and enabling a bedtime reminder.
Worth noting, a lot of other fitness tracking bands and wrist-based ecosystems - Amazfit, Garmin, Apple Watch.
