I’d love to see an option to manually correct the total distance for walking activities when GPS tracking is interrupted or inaccurate.
Sometimes during a walk, GPS can drop, pause, or record the route incorrectly, which causes the final distance to be wrong. Since distance affects pace, activity summary, and overall workout accuracy, it would be helpful to allow users to edit or correct the total distance after the activity ends.
Ideally, WHOOP could support:
-
Editing the total distance after saving a walking activity
-
Recalculating average pace based on the corrected distance
-
Keeping a note that the activity was manually adjusted
-
Optionally showing both GPS-recorded distance and user-corrected distance
This would make walking activity summaries more accurate and useful, especially when GPS interruptions happen in areas with poor signal, buildings, tunnels, or battery/location issues.
