Early days, but struggling with step and sleep accuracy?

By no means bashing Whoop here, however, I received my whoop 5.0 peak yesterday and much like some of you, step count is wayyyy off; says 13,222 today vs Apple Watch Series 10 at 7,802; I worked from home today so definitely did less than 10k steps and I really can’t understand why it would require ‘calibrating’. Also, I’m a light sleeper and did not have a good nights sleep last night. Apple Watch Series 10 calculated 57mins vs Whoops 1hr42mins which again I think is off unfortunately. Does it really get more accurate over time? A little concerned that the app is better than the hardware…thanks!
