Do I need to return device after 2 month free trial?

Hello, I got a 2 month free trial through a friend referral, I cancelled before the 2 months finished, but there is conflicting information online about whether I will need to return the device. I also did not receive any return instructions or prepaid label via email or on the website when I cancelled. Am I good to go or am I going to get hit with a fee?

Hey there Ben! Could you please confirm if this was a 4.0 that someone passed along to you, or was this a new 5.0 trial you’ve received?

It is a 4.0, but it was brand new in box, it was not passed along to me

If the trial was ordered from join.whoop.com, then yes, you will need to cancel and return.
